Day 2 started with a trip to Bukchon Hanok Village. It was a bit challenging to find because there were no markers around and it really did just look like a normal village. My sister and I had fun going into these little shops selling touristy trinkets. πŸ™‚

Turning 29 in Seoul! (Day 1)

I wanted to do something different on my 29th birthday, so I decided to spend it abroad. It originally was supposed to be a solo trip but my sister wanted to go to Seoul too, so she decided to go with me. πŸ™‚

If you will recall, I already went to Seoul last year, so the goal of this year’s trip was to go to the places that I wasn’t able to go to the year before, and to also show my sister the things that I loved most about the city. This was our itinerary:

Twenty Eight.

A few days ago, I celebrated my 28th birthday. I don’t know, maybe its just me, but every time I add another year to my age, the celebrations get more and more bittersweet. In fact, I think the only reason why I even celebrate is so that I don’t drown in the regrets of my younger years. Particularly for this birthday, I had wanted to celebrate despite my current state of financial distress, just so the week wouldn’t be remembered in my book as the week with the major heartbreak from that 10 year pseudo relationship. (More on that on another entry, maybe. Haha.)
